Three things I love about Mishka

I'm not really much of an #ootd person. I mean, sure, sometimes I post selfies on Instagram but never my outfit because one, I feel like I'm not stylish enough for #ootd posts, and two, because I feel soooooo awkward having my picture taken for OOTDs, even if or especially if? it's my husband who's taking the picture!

But I will set aside my shyness for today because I wanna feature something cool for us ladies! Shoes that is lightweight, comfortable, and foldable! Uh-huh! You read that right. FOLDABLE!

Individual photos from Mishka's FB, collaged by me.

Even if I'm petite, I've never taken a liking to heels. I can never understand women who feel more comfortable wearing heels than flats. I know someone who can run with her heels but stumble with rubber shoes and I am beyond confused. Like, I.can't.even. But alas, all women are created differently so who am I to judge?

The first thing I like about Mishka is that it fits me perfectly! You see, I have really small feet (just size 5! sometimes even 4 or 4 1/2, depending on the brand) so it's been a real problem for me buying shoes. If you have the same problem as I do, rejoice (!!!) because this brand is for you!

I'm a mom of a 14-month old toddler. Any mom can attest that babies who just started walking are so likot! Like, they're so overwhelmed with their new found independence that they just have to be everywhere! Of course, 14-month olds are not very stable walkers yet. If they run very fast, they can accidentally trip themselves with their own feet. Thus the need for us mothers to run and play and just basically keep up with them. Only the most comfortable flats will do. Mishka is just that!

And of course, since I became a stay-at-home mom, I have to be more smart with my expenses. I can't afford to buy those ridiculously expensive shoes anymore. Well, not that I want to. The only expensive shoes I got turned out to be torture! Aaaahhh!! Sobrang sayang. I ended up giving it to my niece who also tortured her feet and eventually outgrew them. Mishka is the total opposite. Not naman cheap but it's very affordable. One pair usually costs just less than a thousand pesos.
