The real star of the party! Cupcakes by Happy Ever After Cupcakes

"Parang Pringles, once you pop, you can't stop!"

"Kung may natira pang cupcakes pakidala na lang ha lol!"

"Cute and yummy takeaways!"

Those were just some of the feedback I got about Lex's cupcake jars during and after the party. When I ordered it, I had no idea that it would create such a huge impact to the guests but it did... and rightly so! Just look at it. If you think it looks yummy, just wait until you taste it. So divine!

I think I died and gone to chocolate cupcake heaven.
Happy Ever After Cupcakes is the brainchild of a friend from college, Celene Matela-Liberato. Truth is, I didn't know that she had the artistic prowess as a cupcake artist until recently when I saw that she opened her own business selling eye-candy and mouthwatering cupcakes. Curious? See samples of her work here.

This is Celene, owner of Happy Ever After Cupcakes, who I also have the privilege to call my friend.
The goodies in the next photo are called Cupcake Jars, which actually contains cheesecake instead of a regular cupcake. It is the cutest little thing I have ever seen and it's the best cheesecake in like, everrrrr!!!

These came in three flavors: Oreo Cream, Blueberry, and Strawberry.
Celene was really a blessing to me when I was preparing for Lex's birthday. The story goes like this: I originally only commissioned her to make cupcake jars because it was my sister who was supposed to make the cupcakes. However, around latter part of December, my sister, for some reason, cannot make the cupcakes anymore. For a time, I was contemplating to just remove the cupcakes from the dessert menu since I don't know if suppliers would still take my order given the short notice. I was, at first, too shy to ask Celene if I could still order cupcakes from her because the event date is so near already. And since it's the holidays, I presume that she would be very busy with holiday orders. And I just didn't want to hassle people like that.

On January 3, barely a week before the event, I took a chance. And I'm so glad I did! She accepted my order enthusiastically and even asked if I needed something to display the cupcakes in because if I do then she would gladly lend me some wooden shelves and oh I can't stop writing about how incredibly sweet this girl is and she just really is one of my easiest-to-talk-to suppliers by far! Whew. Long sentence there.

In bullet points, let me just put down everything I love about Happy Ever After Cupcakes:
  • [Cupcake] Looks good, tastes even better!
  • Very reasonable prices. Seriously, Mon and I think that we got more than what we paid for.
  • [Celene] Super easy to talk with, very helpful, very creative.
  • Replies immediately to inquiries. This is one thing I really value when I look for suppliers.
  • Punctual! Yes, Celene actually arrived at the venue earlier than I did to help set up the cupcakes.

As I end this post, allow me to leave you with a photo of my sweets buffet.
